HOA ACCOUNTANT – HOA MANAGEMENT – PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME

Join our fun and collaborative team at Sea to Ski! Sea to Ski is seeking an HOA Accountant to assist with the bookkeeping and financial oversight of Sea to Ski’s managed homeowner associations.

Sea to Ski Property Management is the premier property management company in Park City, Utah. We specialize in private, non-rental vacation homes and management of homeowner associations. With near two decades of experience as one of Park City’s best property management teams, we’re committed to intentional growth, team development, and community building. This is a dynamic, fast paced, and fun work environment. 

Essential Business Functions:

  • Record all incoming expenses and payments in accounting software 
  • Deposit all checks received by mail into appropriate accounts at respective HOA banks
  • Pay all outstanding invoices (by check or online/ACH)
  • Prepare and send all invoices to all owners 
  • Produce and review Accounts Receivable reports to keep all accounts current
  • Answer all incoming homeowner financial questions and requests
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements with QBO to close books at month-end
  • Produce month-end financial reports to share with HOA boards
  • Review budget vs. actuals to monitor financial health of HOA

 

Qualifications:

  • QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience and expertise strongly preferred
  • Formal business/finance/accounting degree, background, or experience strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to interact and work positively and effectively with homeowners and team at all levels
  • General technical competence including comfort using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional organization and tracking skills
  • Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment
