What does Summer 2020 look like in Park City?

Gratitude, Kindness, and Our Commitment to Premier Home Management

The events of the past several months have been like nothing the world has experienced before. As Summer in Park City begins to hit its stride, we felt it important to take a moment to reflect on all that has happened and how we will continue adapting moving forward.

It’s no secret that the effects of the pandemic and the uncertainty of the economy have taken a great toll on small businesses and the service industry (inclusive of Park City property management companies), in particular. The continued trust, support and compassion of our loyal clients have been life-giving and inspiring for Sea to Ski.

We have experienced incredible acts of kindness and generosity from our clients – from paying bonuses to our housekeeping staff when they were restricted from entering homes, to intentionally finding home care projects or requesting additional concierge services to ensure our staff had adequate working hours, to simply checking in and showing genuine concern for how we are holding up. Actions like these mean more than we can adequately express. We gratefully acknowledge that our company would not be in the stable position it is today without the ongoing support of our trusted client base. It reminds us of why we entered the property management business in the first place and the power of community – particularly, here in Park City, Utah!

As we continue to navigate the murky ebb and flow of these circumstances, our main priority remains the health and safety of our employees, clients and community. Following very closely behind that is our commitment to continue delivering the premier level of property management service our clients know and deserve, to the best of our ability and resources.

Sea to Ski has been very lucky that our team has remained healthy. However, some of our vendors and other services in the Park City area continue to deal with decreased staffing, due to confirmed cases or potential contact with confirmed cases of COVID-19. On top of that, many are also at the mercy of parts and supply delays due to restrictions on manufacturing and distribution centers. We will always support our preferred vendors, but in the event that they are unable to fulfill our requests we are doing everything possible to expedite resolutions from elsewhere. Patience and understanding will continue to be greatly appreciated.

This year has ushered us into a determining new era. One that has been challenging in myriad ways, but remains full of hope and opportunity for how we shape our paths ahead. As we have seen, small actions can have big impacts. One way that we can all make a difference is by exercising kindness.

As many of our clients have returned or are planning their return to Park City, we look forward to welcoming them back to their second homes with care. There are still plenty of summer activities to enjoy, while social distancing and recreating responsibly.
